Step 2
mount the snow flakes onto the blocks (peel and stick)
tap the stamp a couple times onto the ink pad them press directly down and firmly onto your paper following the design or place where ever you like.  I used the Large and small snowflakes in the pear pizazz ink and the medium snowflake in the coastal cabana
Step 3
cut out your pop up label using your die and big shot in whisper white
alternatively you could use a labels punch or
you could use a simple circle or square

Step 4
Using your medium sized snow flake and still the coastal cabana ink "stamp off" once then directly onto your label to make to make a lighter impression.
Step 5
Arrange your greeting onto the glass block-there are several to choose from in the set, i suggest you practice to see the alignment.  Then stamp the greeting onto the label.
Step 6
using the piece of sponge, dip it onto the costal cabana ink and then brush all the edges of the label and the card piece you have stamped all ready.
Step 7
cut costal cabana card stock 1" x 4"
cut silver glimmer paper 3/4" x 4"
using your snail (double sided adhesive tape) run a line on the back of the silver and place centred onto the costal cabana
if you wanted to skip either of the bands a single band would suffice

Step 8
Run the snail in a strip on the back of costal cabana strip then mount onto to card front
Step 9
Place 2 Dimensionals onto the backside of the label then mount onto the strip

Personalized stamp-Makes an awesome gift!

I am always looking for a unique gift idea, something that I've actually had to think about the person and what they would like. And I love receiving gifts that every time I see or use them I think of the person who gave it to me-this is one of those gifts.

Stylish Christmas Gift Tags-how to

Did someone say Gift Tags?!

Adding a hand made gift tag to any package can really make a gift extra special! Here are some samples of ones that I made using the Cheerful Tags Stamp set from Stampin' Up!

What you will need to complete this project:

  • Pre cut tags or cut your own using a tag punch or die and (Whisper white) card stock
  • Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler ink
  • Cheerful Tags Stamp set and a clear stamp block
  • Clear Embossing Powder
  • Heat Tool
  • Coordinating ribbons and embellishments

Steps to achieving this look:

  1. cut or punch out Tags
  2. choose stamp and mount on clear block
  3. tap stamp on ink pad a few times lightly
  4. line up where you want the image to go and then firmly press the stamp onto the tag with even pressure
  5. with ink still fresh and moist pour the clear embossing powder on image and gently shift powder over the image to ensure complete coverage, then gently tap off excess powder (onto a sheet of paper or coffee filter works nicely also)
  6. Using the heating tool gently wave the unit back and forth about 10-20 centimetres away from the image (i fixed mine onto a wooden clipboard to be sure not to burn my fingers!) the image will turn shiny when it is done.
  7. let it set for a few minutes
  8. add ribbons and embellishments

Memory Keeping with Project Life and Stampin' Up!

Memory Keeping

After many years of "wanting" to scrap book and make beautiful pages with pictures that hold meaning to me what I had was a drawer full of beautiful paper, some pretty embellishments and files full of photos still on my computer.
When Stampin' Up announced their partnership with Becky Higgins and Project Life I didn't know what it was, but it toted itself to be easy and time efficient-2 things that I really needed in a project, so I thought "this is for ME!"
It truly was easy, the most difficult part was choosing the photos to use in my pages.
Here are some samples that I did:

I have created some pages on my own and also with a small group of wonderful ladies, we had a morning Project Life get together and it was great-so much fun! One messaged me afterward thanking me and saying that she was so proud and couldn't stop flipping through the pages that she had made, when I thought about it I was the same.  I love the ease of the pocket style pages and the beautiful stylish cards, cool stamps and embellishments from Stampin' Up! to add. I am just getting started-I am looking forward to documenting my life with the easy to use Project Life kits.
